Cars/trucks are truly our life_line & when they’re not in working order, we are dependent on an auto mechanic to tell us & fix whatever problem(s) is keeping it from working! Throughout the years, I’ve had many cars & many auto mechanics….. Just recently after gassing up, my truck wouldn’t start; fortunately someone helped w a jump start; having just made it to AutoZone; I asked the tech if he could change out battery (which I knew was running on its last start_ups!) & the tech was quite adamant in telling me it wasn’t the battery, rather it was the starter! My heart just about sank….it was Friday night & I was not going to get anything looked at until Monday! My truck is 10+ years, w over 100,000+ miles….I’ve paid into an extended warranty, of which I looked to see if it covered a starter repair? at the same time needing to find a mechanic taking my E.W. as payment, which only added to my stress! I did find a mechanic/shop that took my E.W. which was right down the road. Monday morning was jammed w appts. being dependent on Uber rides to get to & from! I finally got to call the AAMCO shop on Walnut St. in Cary, NC. & spoke w Dylan Schoff (Manager). After getting my truck in; Dylan was so reassuring by saying that “they’ve got me”!……& I actually felt a weight having been lifted! By the next day, Dylan called to say that in fact it was the battery! gave me a quote, which I gave a go ahead on! I can’t express enough how I was made to feel prioritized…..Thank you AAMCO! Dylan was so kind & reassuring of which really meant so much! I’ve found a forever shop in AAMCO & will refer Dylan & his Team to anyone in need from here on in! Kindest regards, Karin Keenan
Last week I took my 2018 Honda Odyssey to Mavis Tires in Cary NC, when I took there they said that my transmission needs to be service which that means that they think I need to replace a transmission possible but when I took it at AAMCO they did the tune up and after that, they said that the Mass Air Flow Sensor was bad so they replaced it and everything in my vehicle was running normal now, I would highly recommend to go to this place to see Dylan and to know what is wrong with the vehicle.
Earlier this year, Feb 2026 I needed to get some work done on my car and again now in May 2026, both times I was in critical need. Dylan is THE man, everyone I’ve encountered has been exceptional. The service is top notch, I feel good when I’m leaving there, I trust the service done on my car and this location definitely has a life time customer. 10/10 please take your vehicle here to see Dylan and the team
Aamco in Cary was right there when I needed them. They did the work they said they would do and my car has been running great ever since!
I had a great experience with AAMCO. My truck broke down on the road with a misfire issue, and they were able to get me in the same day, which was a huge relief. The team was professional, helpful, and understanding of the situation. It’s not easy dealing with unexpected vehicle problems, but they made the process smooth and stress-free. Really appreciate their quick turnaround and service—definitely thankful for their help! Highly recommend.
